Hello, My
Name is Jennifer Matott and I'm a scrapbook addict. Seriously, I have been a scrapbooker for 7 years now and have learned so much from other
people, by taking classes or going to crops. I have a fine arts
degree (BFA) from Fredonia State, NY. I am a High School art teacher
and 3D artist from Central New York (that's in the center of the
STATE of NY, not the city!). I scrap about 10- 12 hours a week when
I'm not busy chasing my 2 yr. old around or working. I have a very
patient and understanding husband who puts up with my need to create
and make messes. He doesn't get it, but he likes the results of my
pages.
My style is simple yet I like using trendy embellishments and stuff
that isn't really considered scrapstuff, like hardwares, fabric or
other treasures from the local hardware store. I like bold color
combinations and neutrals. I tend to feature one or two photos on my
pages rather than many. I LOVE gorgeous patterned paper and rub ons.
Chipboard is a new weakness and I 'm becoming an avid collector!
Join me on the Island. I can't wait to see what you do!

Hello!! I'm
Amy Harle and I'm thrilled to be an Island Girl!!
I've been married to Fred, my extremely talented DH,
since 1998 (he makes custom kitchen cabinets and
furniture). We have two beautiful scrapping subjects (hee
hee): Olivia, age 5, and Ava, age 2. I work full-time
for a major financial services company and also travel
40%-50% of the time for work.
I started scrapping in 2002 after going to a Creative
Memories crop at my church. Not too long after that I,
thankfully, stumbled upon a scrapping website (no
names!!) that contained scrapping styles that were SO
different from CM and I was HOOKED
(obsessed…whatever!!). I've been scrapping (late into
the night, usually after the girls are in bed) ever
since.
Although my style tends to be linear and clean, I love
the more shabby/messy/"out of the box" styles. I'm just
not so sure it works for me :) Because of my "clean"
style my favorite manufacturers are American Crafts,
Scenic Route and KI Memories. I'm looking forward to
creating with all of the awesome product We B' Scrappin'
has to offer!!!

Hello. My name is Shelley May and I am a scrapaholic. (You say – Hi shelleymay!) My husband knows what an embellishment is. My daughter ASKS me to take pictures of her. She’s only THREE! I got married in 2002 to a pretty amazing man… Ron… not to mention he’s a cutie! We had an amazing daughter in 2005... Kennedy. Of course she’s my #1 subject to scrap. Just can’t get enough! It was seeing her for the first time, when our lives together really began. I work full-time from home as a Software Implementation Specialist. I’m a bit of a nerd, I guess and I get to work from home in my jammies and flip-flops all day. I can’t complain. I am one of the few that can truly say, I love my job!
I began scrapping full time in 2005. I think my first trip to my LSS, I spent about $250.00. I haven’t looked back since. It is a passion and a world I never knew existed. The friendship and sense of community you find in this hobby is certainly a force to be reckoned with. I think that is what drew me in the strongest.
My scrap style is constantly evolving. I am truly, madly, deeply in love with all things patterned. Add a lil’ bling, and I am happy as can be! I guess my style is clean but eclectic. I DO NOT believe in rules. I believe in doing what feels right. I don’t scrap to please others. I scrap to leave a piece of me behind for my family. I am published in a book by Memory Makers Magazine called “601 Great Scrapbook Ideas” and an upcoming issue of Paper Trends. I am also a “Secret Agent” for Fiskars!
I am so excited to be working with such a talented group on the Island! I hope you all enjoy it as much as we do here!

Hi! My name is Deb Wisinski. I am a mother of two adorable and spunky boys with a third on the way. I have been scrapping for 9 years and have been enjoying every minute of it. I am very lucky to have a husband that is super supportive of my scrapbooking and other hobbies. I also enjoy creating lampwork beads and jewelry as well as sewing and knitting on occasion.
I have an AAS degree from Mohawk Valley in Advertising Design and Production. My hands are my favorite tool for scrapbooking and are always covered with ink or paint. Most of my layouts are of my boys. I could scrap their pictures everyday and never catch up! I spend a long time on my pages. I am not one of the lucky ones that can whip a page out in a half hour or so. I can spend over half a day on just one page.
I am thrilled to have been chosen to be on We B’s DT! I like to call my pages fridge art and am happy to share them with you. I hope you get some inspiration from my art. Feel free to use any of it for examples or just to copy. I would be flattered if you did.
Thanks and happy scrapping!
Deb

Hi, I'm Gina Fensterer! I haven't been able to stop scrapping since the day a good friend of mine introduced me to it as a way to share all the memories I had from a two-week overseas trip. I was a wee 15 then, so I have my mom to thank for all the money she spent on my addicting hobby. Now, married to a wonderful husband in the Air Force and with three adorable children, I scrap all the memories I can. Where life takes us, the people who become closest to us, the highlights of our children's lives, anything that defines us as a family. I scrap any way I can, traditional, digital, and hybrid. The possibilities excite me!
Scrapping is my creative release from being a stay-at-home-mom (which I do love!), but I often dabble in other ways to create. Trying new things is just too much fun, so I've tried sewing a bit here and there, I love to cook and bake (which is also a great thing to share with my older girls, who love to help stir and add things to whatever we're making), and this year we're trying a garden! Believe me, all these things get scrapped, too! Some people can tell their life stories with wonderful words, I tell them in pictures and paper. It's a delight for me to be an Island Girl to share my passion with others!
